Peptide Reconstitution Calculator
Free UK peptide reconstitution calculator. Work out the concentration of a reconstituted vial and the volume that holds a given amount, in mL and graduation marks. Volumetric conversion only.
Choose your syringe size, vial strength and the volume of solvent added. The calculator converts a target amount into mL and graduation marks.
Need a solvent? Bacteriostatic water 10ml, £5.99
0.9% benzyl alcohol, the standard solvent for reconstituting lyophilised research peptides. UK stock.
How the calculation works
The calculator does three steps of arithmetic. Nothing else goes into the result.
- Concentration = peptide in the vial ÷ solvent added. 10 mg in 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL, which is 5,000 mcg/mL (1 mg = 1,000 mcg).
- Volume = target amount ÷ concentration. 500 mcg at 5,000 mcg/mL is 0.1 mL.
- Graduation mark = volume × 100, on a scale with 100 marks per mL. 0.1 mL is the 10 mark.
Adding more solvent lowers the concentration, so each mark holds less peptide. Adding less raises it.

| 10 mg | 1 mL | 10 mg/mL | 1,000 mcg |
| 10 mg | 2 mL | 5 mg/mL | 500 mcg |
| 10 mg | 3 mL | 3.33 mg/mL | 333 mcg |
